Day 1
Travel to Holyhead for our morning sea crossing to Dublin, and continue to Waterford. (4 nights stay at the Dooley's Hotel).
Day 2
A day at leisure in Waterford.
Day 3
This morning we join the Waterford & Suir Valley Railway for a beautiful journey along the banks of the River Suir. Enjoy some free time at Mount Congreve Gardens to explore and enjoy a spot of lunch.
Day 4
Our day starts with a guided tour of the Dunbrody Famine Ship, where costumed performers provide an interpretation of the famine emigrant experience, providing a unique insight into the bravery and fortitude of the Irish people, followed by an afternoon at Johnstown where we explore the turreted castle's sumptuous interiors to understand what life was like for the colourful characters who lived and worked here. Here, we enjoy a soup & sandwich lunch with tea/coffee and cake.
Day 5
Travel to Dublin and our afternoon sea crossing to Holyhead and home.
Situated in the heart of Waterford City; just a few minutes walk from the main shopping centre and all the amenities.
All rooms en-suite, TV, Hairdryer, Tea/Coffee-making facilities, Lounge/Bar, Restaurant, Lift (only travels to some areas in the Hotel), No Ground Floor rooms.
