View Dates & BookItaly's largest lake, blessed with an enviable climate and a glorious mountain setting, with Venice to the east and Milan to the west remains an idyllic holiday destination with charming waterside villages and resorts. This tour includes a visit to the city of Verona, the setting for Shakespeares classic Romeo and Juliet, and beautiful Sirmione, a resort town located at the top of a peninsula on the Southern shores of Lake Garda, famous for its thermal baths and the impressive medieval Scaligero Castle where clustered within its ancient walls are honey-coloured buildings and maze of tiny pedestrianised streets. A proper visit to the castle is a must its lake views alone are worth the steps and stairs.
