This wonderful holiday discovers the true beauty of the Scottish West Coast. Our base of Fort William is located on the shores of Loch Linnhe, surrounding the area is Ben Nevis which holds some of the most stunning scenery found in Britain.

Our base of Fort William is located on the shores of Loch Linnhe, surrounding the area is Ben Nevis which holds some of the most stunning scenery found in Britain. Among the highlights of this tour is a return journey on the magnificent Jacobite Steam Train as it puffs away through glorious scenery along what is considered ‘the greatest railway journey in the world.’
This tour includes:
· 4 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
· A return journey on the Jacobite Steam Railway from Fort William to Mallaig
· 1-hour Loch Ness cruise.
· Entertainment on 2 nights
Monday
Depart North Wales and travel to Fort William.
(4 nights stay at the Alexandra Hotel)
Tuesday
Today we embark on a journey described as the greatest railway journey in the world - the famous Jacobite Steam Train - which will take us on an 84-mile return journey from Fort William to Mallaig. We will have time in the fishing village of Mallaig to enjoy a walk around the village to take in the atmosphere and explore shops, bars and restaurants in this lunchtime stopover. We will then board our train for the return journey back to Fort William.
Wednesday
A day tour to Inverness, the 'Capital of the Highlands'. In the afternoon we experience a 1-hour cruise on Loch Ness under the shadow of the ruins of Urquhart Castle and maybe catch a glimpse of Nessie!
Thursday
A day at leisure to explore Fort William.
Friday
Depart for home.
